President and CEO, Mr. Calin Rovinescu, has been at the helm of Air Canada since 2009 and has been a driving-force behind Air Canada’s profitability and sustainability. Before joining the airline, he was a co-founder and principal at Genuity Capital Markets, an independent investment bank, and a managing partner at law firm Strikeman Elliott. He was chair of the Star Alliance CEO board from 2012 to 2016 and chair of the IATA board of governors in 2014-2015.
